This special print will be released on 16 June 2025 in honor of World Sea Turtle Day, a global effort to raise awareness for sea-turtle conservation.
About the Green Sea Turtle:
Lindsey Kustusch’s vivid portrait highlights the endangered Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia mydas). Adults graze almost exclusively on seagrass and algae, a diet that turns their body fat green and makes them keystone caretakers of coastal seagrass meadows.
Although some regional populations are rebounding, Green Sea Turtles still face threats from bycatch, habitat loss, plastic pollution, and climate change. This painting invites viewers to connect with an ancient marine traveler and support the ongoing work needed for its survival.
Conservation Support
Ten percent of proceeds from every print will be set aside in support of sea-turtle conservation efforts in Gales Point, Belize, including educational programs and turtle tracking research. We are currently coordinating this effort with Hawksbill Hope, a nonprofit focused on protecting endangered sea turtles and supporting local communities.

Only 50 prints are available in the 10 × 10 edition and 25 in the 16 × 16 edition. All framing options draw from the same limited inventory.
