Artist Statement:

“This is the 2016 24 Hours of LeMans GTE Class winning #68 Ford GT. She is still wearing the dirt and grime from her race winning battle. I was incredibly fortunate to see #66 and #67 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2016. I didn’t get very good photos as both cars were surrounded by a glass barrier. A collector of mine that has worked directly with Ford (and is a GT owner) contacted me with a clearer image to work from. He later purchased this painting and gifted 2 limited edition giclée's to Ford Motor Company at Pebble Beach Concours. What a treat to know that my work is enjoyed by the creators of this splendid racing series." - Shan Fannin
